Julianna Leopold

I was raised in North Georgia, went to school in Savannah and while I’m not shooting for my clients I get to travel around the state as the photojournalist for The Georgia Bulletin, the newspaper of the Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta. A true Georgia peach if I do say so myself.

As a creative, I believe the best photos happen when you're too busy living in the moment to notice the camera. I shoot weddings, couples, families, fresh 48 (newborns), and Catholic milestones like baptisms, first communions, and confirmations. No matter what we're celebrating, my goal is the same, to capture what it truly felt like to be there, and the little moments of magic that might have gone unseen.

My style is romantic and lived-in, with a natural, unposed feel. I'll be your guide, and all you have to do is show up as your authentic self. Expect lots of laughs, comfort, real moments, and plenty of room to just be yourselves. I'll capture the rest! I love catching little moments like the love in your eyes when you look at your partner, your toddler laughing, or the quiet unspoken moments between new parents and their baby. Those are the memories you'll want to look back on years from now.

I am grateful to have won awards for my photography at the Catholic Media Conference and never take this work for granted. Telling true stories for a living has taught me how to read a room and be ready for the moments that matter.
